Yesterday's flood
was worse than that of 1961. By now, the water has retreated back to its river bed, leaving everything soaked and coated with a thick film of mud. Here are a few pictures for illustration.
In 2001, my love brought me to Israel, where I lived happily for many years and blogged away in German for my family back home.
Now that we moved to the US, where the best husband of all is attending business school, I decided to create yet another blog for our loved ones in Israel (and anyone else who enjoys reading it) -- to bridge the distance, reduce the longing, and keep our own memories alive. But since German is not a common language and my written Hebrew is poor enough, English will have to suffice for these posts across the ocean. Please bear with me.
